Energiekontor sells project rights for Bergsoll-Frehne wind park project to UKA Group

Bremen, 11 December 2024 – Energiekontor AG (“Energiekontor”), a leading German project developer and operator of wind and solar parks based in Bremen and listed in the General Standard, and the Meissen-based UKA Group (“UKA”), an equally leading project developer for renewable energies, have signed a purchase agreement for the sale of the project rights to the Bergsoll-Frehne wind park project in Brandenburg, Germany.

Acquirer is the UKA Group, headquartered in Meissen, Germany. Founded in 1999, the owner-managed company plans, builds, operates and sells wind and solar parks in Germany, Europe and America and is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. The transaction is a share deal, i.e. the sale or acquisition of the shares in the project company for the wind park project.

The transaction comprises the project rights for two wind turbine sites between Frehne and Meyenburg in the district of Prignitz in Brandenburg, Germany. These mainly relate to the respective land use agreements and rights required for the construction of the sites, as well as information and expert opinions on the ongoing or planned approval procedures for the wind turbine sites. With the acquired project rights, UKA is expanding its own neighbouring project area in the district of Prignitz.
