Espial Group Inc. (“Espial” or the “Company”) (TSX:ESP) advises shareholders that Vantage Asset Management Inc. (“Vantage”) has revised its proposed slate of nominees for election to the Board. The Board will provide a formal response to Vantage's announcement at a later date.
However, Espial reminds shareholders that it has already proposed a full complement of experienced director nominees. Your Board recommends that shareholders submit their proxy in favour of Espial's nominees. Make certain to use Management’s form of proxy and not the blue proxy.
The directors nominated by the Company include five of the directors elected at Espial's last annual general meeting (Peter Seeligsohn, Michael Lee, Michael Hayashi, Kumanan Yogaratnam and Jaison Dolvane) and one new nominee, Aamir Hussain.
Mr. Hussain is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Information Officer for CenturyLink, the 3rd largest telecommunications service provider in the USA with $18 billion in revenues. Mr. Hussain leads product, platforms, infrastructure, cloud, network operations and information technology for CenturyLink, a global communications, hosting, cloud and IT services company that provides broadband, voice, video, data and managed services to millions of customers.
