Extendicare Announces Pending Departure of CEO

MARKHAM, Ontario, July 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Extendicare Inc. (“Extendicare” or the “Company”) (TSX:EXE) today announced that Tim Lukenda will be stepping down from his position as President and CEO, and Director of the Company, by December 31, 2018. The Extendicare Board of Directors has established a Search Committee of the Board and has engaged a leading search firm to conduct a search.

Alan Torrie, the Chairman of Extendicare, stated, “Tim has been an invaluable part of Extendicare during his ten-year tenure as President and CEO. Over the last three years, Tim has overseen the transformation of the Company into a Canadian focused seniors care and services provider.
