FirstCash Amends and Extends $400 Million Revolving Bank Credit Facility Through 2022

FirstCash, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: FCFS) announced today that the term of the Company’s $400 million long-term, unsecured bank credit facility was extended through September 2, 2022. The financial covenants in the facility were also amended to provide greater capacity for making future share repurchases.

Rick Wessel, chief executive officer of First Cash, stated, “The extension of the credit facility into 2022 provides over five years of long-term committed capital to support our continued growth and expansion in both the U.S. and Latin America. In addition, we expect the increased covenant flexibility provided in the amended credit agreement, coupled with the completion of our $300 million seven year senior notes offering, to further increase our ability to provide meaningful shareholder payouts through continued dividends and share repurchases. We look forward to utilizing this added flexibility to purchase common stock under the recently announced $100 million share repurchase authorization.”

The amended credit facility, which is provided by a group of eight leading commercial banks, will continue to bear interest at the prevailing London Interbank Offered Rate plus a fixed spread of 2.5%. Currently, the total interest rate on the facility is approximately 3.5% annually.
