FIS Payments Wins Grand Stevie Award for Women in Business

FIS™ (NYSE: FIS), a global leader in financial services technology, announced today that its Payments organization was named overall Grand Stevie Award winner for the most number of awards received for the 2017 annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.

Eleven women from FIS’ Payments organization were recognized across numerous business areas, including payments engagement, loyalty, digital solutions, operations, international payments and more. In total, FIS employees took home four Gold Stevies, three Silver Stevies and 12 Bronze Stevies, in addition to the Grand Stevie Award.

“The quality of FIS’ work is driven by the incredible people we have, and these women represent the very best of our company,” said Bruce Lowthers, EVP of FIS’ Payments division. “I’m proud to call these women my colleagues and stand beside them in support of clients worldwide.”

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition designed to highlight women executives and entrepreneurs, and organizations run by women. Awards were presented Nov. 17, at a banquet in New York City.
