Veru Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock
MIAMI, Sept. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Veru Inc. (NASDAQ: VERU), an oncology and urology biopharmaceutical company, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market conditions, shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. All of the shares to be sold in the offering will be offered by Veru. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. In addition, Veru intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of its common stock offered in the public offering.

Veru intends to use the net proceeds of the proposed offering for working capital and general corporate purposes, which may include research and development, clinical trial and marketing expenses.
