The seller was the Swiss Commerce Group based in Langenthal (Switzerland). The transaction is based on an asset deal agreement in which all assets and liabilities will be transferred. Closing is expected in early March 2025. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Founded in 1868 in Solingen, Germany, C. Jul. Herbertz focuses on the online distribution of outdoor products, including knives, drinking bottles, lamps and outdoor items. Products for more than 30 international manufacturers are distributed throughout Europe via online channels. In addition, an extensive logistics center is located in Gladbeck. is a software company that is active in 25 sectors with its own platform solutions. Its customers include both B2B and B2C customers in sectors such as furniture retail, machinery retail, dental technology, car platforms, and luxury fashion. The Group has 18 locations across Europe and is headquartered in Düsseldorf. In 2024, sales of EUR 525 million and an operating result (adjusted EBITDA) of EUR 33 million were realized.
