Great Elm Capital Corp. Announces Reverse Stock Split

WALTHAM, Mass., Jan. 27, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Great Elm Capital Corp. (“GECC” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: GECC), a business development company, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 6-for-1 reverse stock split of the Company’s outstanding common stock. As a result of the reverse stock split, every six shares of the Company’s issued and outstanding common stock will be converted into one share of issued and outstanding common stock. No fractional shares will be issued as a result of the reverse stock split. Any fractional shares to be received as a result of the reverse stock split will be redeemed for cash at the closing market price on the business day immediately prior to the effective date of the reverse stock split. The reverse stock split is expected to be effective for trading purposes on February 28, 2022.
