Wuppertal, 31 January 2019 - The Supervisory Board of GESCO AG, a Prime Standard-listed company, has appointed Ms Kerstin Müller-Kirchhofs as its CFO effective as at 1 May 2019.

Ms Müller-Kirchhofs, 52, completed a cooperative education programme in business before earning a degree in economics in Duisburg. She began her career in 1993 at the Düsseldorf offices of Ernst & Young in the firm's auditing department. After 15 years of service as an auditor and tax adviser for industrial and commercial enterprises, she switched from consultancy to the corporate sector. From 2008 to 2015, she served as the CFO of the German subsidiary of Air Liquide, a French industrial gas company. She subsequently served as the CFO of the Otto Krahn Group, a globally operating SME based in Hamburg. In this position, she was responsible for the holding and the Albis Plastic Group, for which she acted as the management spokeswoman on an interim basis for one year from 2015 to 2016.
