HanesBrands Announces 36% Increase in Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend

HanesBrands (NYSE: HBI), a leading marketer of everyday basic apparel under world-class brands in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, today announced that its Board of Directors is raising the company’s quarterly cash dividend by 36 percent, the fourth consecutive double-digit annual increase since establishing the dividend four years ago.

The board is raising the regular quarterly cash dividend to $0.15 per share, up from $0.11 per share. The dividend will be payable March 7, 2017, to stockholders of record Feb. 14, 2017.

“Continued earnings growth has allowed us to increase our quarterly cash dividend to shareholders for the fourth consecutive year,” Hanes Chief Executive Officer Gerald W. Evans Jr. said. “The company has tripled the cash dividend and returned more than $500 million to shareholders since April 2013.”
