Humana Recognized for Commitment to Veteran Employment by Military Times and Military Friendly®

Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) has been recognized by both Military Times and Military Friendly® as a top employer for veterans and military families.

Military Times, a leading source for independent news and information for service members and their families, ranked Humana #14 in its Healthcare category on its . Now in its 15th year, Military Times Best for Vets rankings are based on a voluntary survey covering policies and practices that make companies attractive to the military community. Recruitment and employment practices, as well as retention and support programs, are given the most weight and importance in scoring and final rankings.

Military Friendly®, established in 2003 to advocate for civilian career opportunities for veterans, annually releases a list of employers demonstrating commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful career opportunities for the military community.
