STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Information Services Group () (Nasdaq: ), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining providers of agentic AI services, which help companies use autonomous AI agents to enhance decision-making, streamline processes and accelerate innovation.
The 2025 ISG Provider Lens™ Agentic AI Services study, the first of its kind in the industry, is being launched as part of a cluster of seven studies that span the fast-growing market for AI and analytics services. In addition to the agentic AI research, the studies include Advanced Analytics and AI Services, Generative AI Services and Intelligent Automation Services, plus Specialty Analytics Services studies on Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods, Supply Chain and Life Sciences and Healthcare.
For the first time, ISG has simultaneously launched all interrelated studies across a key area of technology, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency for participating service providers. The cluster launch will give providers more time and flexibility to plan their responses to studies throughout the year. ISG Provider Lens™ reports based on the findings of the studies will be published between July 2025 and January 2026. The AI and analytics cluster is the first of several study clusters to come this year.
By studying agentic AI services, ISG continues its evaluation of the latest AI-related enterprise technologies and services. Agentic AI is reshaping workflows at companies around the world, using agents that can execute complex tasks with multiple steps. These agents can recall past interactions and refine responses, continuously improving their performance. Applications include automated customer support, AI-driven analytics and optimization of operations in domains including supply chain, HR and security.
“Agentic AI is at the leading edge of AI and analytics technologies that are transforming enterprises,” said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. “It opens up new frontiers in digital operations, bringing long-term business benefits that service providers are helping enterprises to realize.”
The new study will evaluate providers of agentic AI development and deployment services, including designing solutions, developing AI ecosystems that mimic human-like teamwork and establishing ethical safeguards and regulatory compliance. Enterprises are seeking providers that have broad ecosystem partnerships and can demonstrate agentic AI solutions that have delivered business outcomes such as reduced costs and faster decision-making.
