New motorway ring-road will improve traffic situation in the whole of north-west Germany | Implenia working in joint venture to build pre-stressed concrete road bridge, a cutting and motorway lanes | Large, complex infrastructure project | Contract worth more than EUR 100 million to Implenia Glattpark (Opfikon), 14 March 2024 – On behalf of DEGES Deutsche Einheit Fernstrasse Planning- und -Bau GmbH, Implenia is completing the ring of motorways around the city of Bremen. Working in a joint venture with Johann Bunte Bauunternehmen, the Group is building section 2/2 of the A 281 motorway. The total order is worth more than EUR 130 million gross. Implenia’s share is over EUR 100 million gross. The project is in line with Implenia’s strategy of focusing on large, complex infrastructure projects. The new motorway link will significantly improve the traffic situation in the whole of north-west Germany.
