Investcorp Names First Real Estate Advisory Director

Investcorp, a global provider and manager of alternative investment products, announced today that Mark Patterson has joined the Firm’s Real Estate team as its first Advisory Director. Mr. Patterson will join Investcorp’s New York office and will be focused on expanding the Firm’s real estate platform. Additionally, Mr. Patterson will serve as a member of the Investment Committee and assist in evaluating transactions for the Firm.

Mr. Patterson brings more than 30 years of experience in investments and capital markets and has been involved in a wide variety of financing activities that have spanned the real estate industry in global property markets.

Mr. Patterson is currently a consultant and President of MP Realty Advisors LLC. Previously, Mr. Patterson served as Chairman of Boomerang Systems, Inc. and as its Chief Executive Officer until January 2015. Additionally, until January of 2009, Mr. Patterson served as the Managing Director and the Head of Real Estate Global Principal Investments at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., where he oversaw real estate investment banking, mortgage debt and principal investing activities. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Patterson spent 16 years at Citigroup where he was the Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking. He holds a B.B.A. from the College of William & Mary in Virginia and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Colgate Darden School.
