Milacron Holdings Corp. The Indian injection market continues to outperform estimates and remains a key geographical area of focus for Milacron’s brands. Milacron has been experiencing significant growth in India and recently completed another round of expansions to their injection, blow and extrusion molding machine manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, as well as their hot runner manufacturing facility in Coimbatore.

NEW - Milacron Quantum 150 Injection Molding Machine
Milacron India will be launching the NEW Quantum Toggle injection molding machine at Plastivision. The Quantum series is designed to deliver higher productivity, reduced cost of ownership, enhanced performance and advanced technical specifications. Quantum comes equipped with Milacron’s Endura Touch control interface. Quantum Series is available from 110 to 650 ton range. Quantum features new generation toggle machine technology that will provide added benefits of reduced energy consumption, lower cycle time coupled with precision and reliability.
Cell Details: The Quantum 150 will be molding closures using HDPE, 32 cavity, 86.4 g part weight, and a 5-second cycle time. The cell will be equipped with a Mold-Masters SPRINT hot runner and a TempMaster M2 temperature controller.
Milacron Hydron Servo 300 Injection Molding Machine
The Milacron Hydron is a servo hydraulic, offering high performance molding with low energy consumption. The Hydron’s advanced clamp design, generous mold space, twin cylinder injection unit and servo motor provides high productivity, precision, consistency and energy efficiency (estimated savings of 50%). Milacron offers the Hydron in a tonnage range of 100-450 T.
Cell Details: The Hydron 300 will be molding 10 L paint pails using PCCP, 1 cavity, 438 g part weight, and a 15-second cycle time.

The Milacron TC Conical Twin Screw extrusion system has a wide range of options for every application requirement. The TC’s customized screw designs are matched specifically to the customer process requirements for optimal performance. The TC uses advanced materials of construction, including tungsten coated screws and tungsten clad barrels for maximum wear protection and the lowest possible life cycle costs. The new tips are engineered to far exceed the performance of similar competitive systems. The new SPRINT color change tip improves color change by up to 47% (vs. a standard gate tip). These new gating tips are available immediately as a standard package for all SPRINT systems and are compatible with the current tip as replacements. Mold-Masters SPRINT closure hot runners are engineered for speed.
