3M’s Clean-Trace System was nominated in the “Best New Product or Service of the Year” category. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including “Startup of the Year,” “Executive of the Year,” “Best New Product or Service of the Year,” “Marketing Campaign of the Year,” “Live Event of the Year,” and “Company of the Year,” among others.

The 2017 panel of judges consisted of more than 190 international professionals, many of whom were impressed by the 3M Clean-Trace system. One noted: “The system appears to be addressing a strong market need around accuracy and speed,” while another concentrated on its functionality, commenting that “the dashboard view sounds easy, with good analytics, and would really improve testing precision and accuracy.” The overall sentiment can perhaps be best summed up by a final judge’s simple conclusion: “We need more products like this.”
