Construction contract in Estonia (high-voltage power cables, Tallinn)

On 21 November 2019, AS Merko Infra, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, and AS Connecto Eesti entered into a contract with Elering AS for the replacement of three 110 kV electric power lines with ground cables in Tallinn.

The contract includes the replacement of a 110 kV electric power line with ground cable between Kadaka and Veskimetsa substations in Tallinn. Also, parts of Harku-Veskimetsa and Harku-Kadaka 110 kV power lines will be replaced with ground cables.

The contract value is approximately EUR 5.1 million, plus value added tax. The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020.

AS Merko Infra is engaged in designing, building and setting up medium- and high-voltage substations, cable lines and other electrical installations.
