MAD Greens Selects PAR Technology’s Cloud-Based Brink POS® Software for Company-Wide Deployment

ParTech, Inc. (PAR), a leading global provider of point-of-sale (POS) and food safety solutions to the restaurant industry and wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR), announced today that MAD Greens has selected PAR's Brink POS® Software for all of their 28 current locations. Known for fresh, locally sourced and hand-crafted food that is “better for you,” MAD Greens prepares and serves high-quality ingredients to thousands of guests across four states. Healthy food with a focus on fun shines through in their unique, made-to-order salads, juices, wraps, soups, and Panini combinations.

In anticipation of rapid brand acceleration, MAD Greens sought out a new point-of-sale solution with a cloud-based architecture to manage an evolving company with an increasing number of stores. MAD Greens selected PAR Brink POS Software due to its ease of use, integration capabilities to support all their existing systems, and ability to quickly implement menu changes across all platforms and locations. Additionally, Brink’s cloud-based architecture allows for quick deployment into new restaurants as they continue to grow.

With access to a true real-time, cloud-based database, MAD Greens now has better insight and a clearer connection throughout all store operations, enabling business decisions to be evaluated and acted on more quickly.

John Montgomery, MAD Greens CFO and ‘Resident Tech Guy’ commented, “We were looking to partner with a vendor that understood our needs as a rapidly growing Fast Casual concept. I spoke with many of my colleagues in the Fast Casual world and among those using Brink POS, the overwhelming message was one of success. The PAR Brink POS solution has allowed MAD Greens to think about what can be done - not what can’t be done - in regards to POS. We are excited to move forward with our expansion knowing we have the right technology in place and a true partner in PAR for support.”

Montgomery added, “Hosting our data in the cloud, allows access to reporting from anywhere and we no longer lose the ability to monitor our restaurants’ performance if the back of house computer fails.”

“We are proud to partner with MAD Greens to deliver a software solution that was revolutionary and agile enough to meet their requirements. We are also honored to have developed a reputation in the Fast Casual industry for innovation and quality around our Brink POS software,” said Karen E. Sammon, President & CEO at PAR Technology Corporation. “We look forward to continuing to support MAD Greens through the evolution of their brand for many years to come.”

Vermilion Short Shots: Technically Vulnerable Stocks

Short Shots is a collection of technically vulnerable charts culled from the Negative Inflecting and Toppy columns within our Weekly Compass report or from various technical screening processes. The charts contained in this report have developed concerning technical patterns that suggest further price deterioration is likely. For these reasons Short Shots can also be a great source of ideas for investors interested in short-selling candidates.
