America really showed its holiday spirit with a great response and a large number of videos submitted by the Monday deadline. Of those, three Public Storage fans and two groups of employees from across the country were selected as finalists for the next round of judging. Together they decked the halls and shared their favorite holiday traditions, with videos featuring a dancing reindeer and even a romance story celebrated over Christmas lights.

While entrants weren’t required to talk about the winter holidays, the season seems to have inspired many entries. In addition, one video highlighting National Parks Week in the spring is worth celebrating just as much! Submissions fit within two contest categories: one for employees and a second for the general public.

Watch the newly published videos on the Public Storage YouTube channel to vote, and prepare for a laugh and maybe even some happy tears. The two Holiday Stories videos, one in each group, with the most watches by the end of the day December 12, 2017 will win $250.

Last month, two winners were awarded the same prize amount for creating unique and entertaining music videos that paid tribute to Public Storage. Give them a watch here: http://bit.ly/SingtoWinvideos

Please help Public Storage spread holiday cheer far and wide by sharing these videos, and check out Public Storage on Facebook and Twitter for news of more contests to come.

Happy holidays!

Q3 was expected to be a quarter where we might see some tariff impact for US real estate issuers. Instead, the companies in our coverage including Prologis, Public Storage, Simon Property Group and WP Carey all reported solid numbers with increased guidance. Companies grew EBITDA and management across all four companies was positive on the outlook. Still, we expect some tariff impact to come, but balance sheets are well placed to absorb any “softening”.
