Recce Pharmaceuticals Receives A$801,604 Research and Development (R&D) Rebate Advance

SYDNEY, Australia, July 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Recce Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX: RCE, FSE: R9Q) (the Company), the Company developing a new class of synthetic anti-infectives, is pleased to announce it received further non-dilutive funds from Radium Capital (Radium) for A$801,604 of Recce’s future R&D tax incentive.

The advance payment represents an accountant-verified proportion of its March – May 2023 fiscal year R&D applicable expenditure. The non-dilutive funds come in addition to the recently reported A$973,144, with A$3,682,787 of future R&D credit-backed funds received and redeployed this financial year.

The Australian Government’s 43.5% R&D Tax Incentive rebate is typically reserved for Australian-based R&D only; however, it can capture 43.5% of R&D applicable activities overseas, as reflected in this rebate.

RECCE^® 327 is not yet market approved for use in humans with further clinical testing required to fully evaluate safety and efficacy.
