RRD CIO Ken O’Brien to Present on the New Print & Digital Mix Needed to Drive Response at Oracle Modern Marketing Experience

R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (RRD) (NYSE:RRD) (the “Company”), a leading global provider of integrated multichannel marketing and business communications solutions, today announced its participation alongside top marketing industry leaders at Oracle Modern Marketing Experience, taking place April 25-27, 2017 in Las Vegas.

In the age of information overload, marketers continue to be challenged to reach consumers in ways that compel them to take action. Today, an effective marketing strategy requires synchronizing communications across an increasingly complex maze of marketing channels to create meaningful connections with targeted audiences.

On Wednesday, April 26 at 5:45pm PT, Ken O’Brien, RRD EVP and CIO, will explore this topic and more during his breakout session, “Print and Digital: The New Modern Mix for Creating Synergy and Driving Value.” During his presentation, Ken will discuss:

  • Current challenges facing marketers and the importance of creating compelling interactive experiences that engage the end consumer
  • The benefit of marketing strategies that leverage the appropriate mix of print and digital tactics
  • The strategic application of all available marketing channels to create value
  • Real-world examples of organizations that have successfully navigated the marketing mix with both traditional and digital channels

For marketers seeking an effective way to create, manage and launch communication campaigns across online and offline channels, RRD will showcase its marketing automation application, TO Print for Oracle Eloqua, at booth number MME-08 during the event. Eliminating costly and confusing hours of planning and execution, as well as the need to manage digital and traditional marketing communications channels separately, TO Print for Oracle Eloqua ties multichannel campaign elements together into a single automated strategy, resulting in marketing campaigns that are more coordinated, personalized and effective overall.

In addition, Precision Dialogue, an analytics-driven, multichannel customer engagement firm and RRD company, will join other top Oracle Marketing AppCloud Partners in a workshop, “Best Practices: What IS Intelligent Content,” on Tuesday, April 25 at 11:30am PT. Jeff Buczynski, director of marketing solutions, will explore how to develop intelligent content, as well as utilizing data to inform content and drive more personalized campaigns to maximize ROI.
