Munich (Germany), 30 September 2019. With effect from 1 October 2019, Dr Kai Holtmann (53) will take over as Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Schaltbau Holding AG [ISIN: DE000A2NBTL2], the leading international technology provider of components and systems for mobile and stationary transport technology and the capital goods industry.

Holtmann initially advised a large number of companies going public in investment banking and subsequently worked in management consultancy and interim management. For more than ten years he has been responsible for the investor relations activities of issuers in the Prime Standard. After completing a bank education, he studied business administration at the University of Siegen, followed by a trainee program in capital markets finance and a doctorate at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Bielefeld.

Kai Holtmann takes over the position at Schaltbau from Wolfgang Güssgen, who wants to pursue new career opportunities after completion of the restructuring phase. Holtmann reports directly to CEO Dr Albrecht Köhler and further expands financial communications for the upcoming growth phase, which is driven in particular by the future markets of New Energy, E-Mobility, DC-Industry and Smart Building in addition to the classic rail business.
