Sparton Awarded Contracts for Maritime Payload Delivery Systems

Sparton Corporation (NYSE:SPA), a leader in the design and development of maritime systems, announced the receipt of contract awards for the further development of Sparton’s Hammerhead maritime payload delivery canister system. The contracts include orders for engineering development and delivery of canister systems to our customers for field testing. These contracts have a total value of $1.1 million with deliveries scheduled for July 2018 and September 2018.

With an established history in the design, development, and manufacture of sonobuoy systems, payload delivery systems are a further example of Sparton’s expertise in maritime technologies. “Sparton is a leader in maritime payload delivery system technology,” stated Jim Lackemacher, Group Vice President of Sparton’s Engineered Components and Products segment. “The Hammerhead device represents our next step in the evolution of maritime payload delivery systems which further enhance the military’s mission capability.”
