EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., April 09, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CHF Solutions (Nasdaq: CHFS), a medical device company dedicated to changing the lives of patients suffering from fluid overload, today announced the submission of a patent application for an adaptation to the Aquadex SmartFlow™ system to rapidly clear cytokines, including interleukin 6 (IL-6), from the blood. Removal of cytokines from the blood may improve the condition of patients suffering from COVID-19.
