Software AG Collaborates with Google Cloud to make its Digital Business Platform available on the Google Cloud Platform

Software AG (Frankfurt TecDAX: SOW) today announced a collaboration with Google Cloud Platform and the immediate availability of its market leading webMethods Hybrid Integration Platform on Google Cloud Platform. Software AG will also provide its Digital Business Platform on Google Cloud later in the year.

Kevin Niblock, president and chief operating officer, Software AG North America, noted: “Software AG’s work with Google Cloud Platform will help enterprise customers move confidently from legacy infrastructures to an open, secure and future-proof Cloud using our webMethods Hybrid Integration platform. With our unique relationship with Google, we can better help enterprises transition to the Cloud.”

Software AG’s webMethods Hybrid Integration Platform was recently named a leader amongst the “the vendors that matter most” that Forrester Research, Inc., a leading independent research firm, invited to participate in its report, “The Forrester Wave™: Hybrid Integration for Enterprises, Q4 2016.”

Wolfram Jost, chief technology officer, Software AG, noted: “Hybrid Integration is something companies ultimately need as it supports both on-premise and cloud models. Creating a separate infrastructure for just Cloud Integration creates another information silo and reduces the benefits of cloud adoption. By offering the Google Cloud Platform, we are expanding the available Cloud options for our customers.”

As a result of this collaboration, Software AG customers can now use Google Cloud Platform to operate and run their mission critical integration infrastructure.

Jost continued: “webMethods is available on Google’s Cloud platform immediately. Soon, the complete Digital Business Platform will be available on Google Cloud Platform. In addition, we are developing and launching Google Cloud Platform specific products, which provide greater value to our customers.”
