Nortautas Luopas appointed as new Head of Business to Consumer at Telia Lietuva

The Board of Telia Lietuva, AB (hereinafter – ‘Telia Lietuva’ or ‘the Company’) appointed Nortautas Luopas as Head of Business to Consumer (B2C). Nortautas Luopas will join Telia Lietuva management team from August 2019.

Nortautas Luopas (born in 1979) is returning to Lithuania from Switzerland, where for the past year was heading Digital Implementation at Philip Morris International and working as Director of Digital Infrastructure and Planning from October 2015.

“I am looking forward to Nortautas joining our management team and contributing it with long-lasting international experience. For the recent period, Telia Lietuva is investing a lot in digital transformation that is essential to meet customer needs and smoothen their experience. I believe that Nortautas’ involvement will allow us to accelerate those targets”, says Dan Strömberg, CEO of Telia Lietuva.

Nortautas Luopas started his career at Philip Morris back in 2001. In March 2007, he became Country Sales Manager for Lithuania at Philip Morris Baltic, in October 2009 he started working in Philip Morris International head office in Switzerland as Strategic Project Manager. From October 2010, he took the position of Band Manager for Baltic markets at Philip Morris Baltic; later he became Marketing Director for the Baltic States and Commercial Director for the Baltic States.

Nortautas Luopas has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and IT from Klaipėda University (Lithuania), he completed Executive MBA studies at Baltic Management Institute in 2009.
