TELESTE TO DELIVER ITS PASSENGER INFORMATION SOLUTION FOR TRANSLINK SKYTRAIN RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM IN VANCOUVER, CANADA

TransLink has selected Teleste's passenger information solution for the Skytrain rapid transit system in Vancouver, Canada. TransLink is Metro Vancouver's transportation network, serving residents and visitors with public transit, major roads, bridges and trip planning. The system deployment has started and Teleste's solution will be initially installed at 33 stations in the system that is the oldest and one of the longest automated driverless rapid transit systems in the world.

Teleste's passenger information solution has been designed for real-time passenger information delivery and management within public transport infrastructure. Its dedicated management software allows Translink to ensure that the relevant travel information, such as timetables and arrivals, is displayed timely and accurately across all media channels. The solution also includes Teleste's ETL certified RGB LED and TFT LED information displays that guarantee high availability of information for passengers as they pass through the Skytrain stations, platforms and entrances.
