Change of CEO at Talenom Plc

The CEO of Talenom Plc, Jussi Paaso, is stepping down from the role of CEO at his own request to take up new responsibilities within the company. Otto-Pekka Huhtala (M.S. (Econ.)), deputy CEO of Talenom, has been appointed as the company’s new CEO starting from 29 July 2019. He has been a member of the company’s executive board and worked as the company’s head of accounting services for a long time, being in charge of the service production of the accounting business and the development of the bookkeeping production line. Overall, he has worked in different positions in the company since 2002. He has graduated from the University of Vaasa as Master of Science (Economics) majoring in industrial engineering.

Talenom’s Chairman of the Board, Harri Tahkola, regards Otto-Pekka as an excellent choice for the company’s next CEO: “Otto-Pekka has extensive experience and a strong record in leadership and development in the accounting business. It is natural for him to take up the duties of CEO as Jussi wishes to focus on supporting the growth of the company more closely. The Board is happy that Jussi will remain part of the Talenom team, and I want to thank him for his great work as CEO. He has put the company in great shape and well positioned to maintain steady, profitable growth. Our prospects for the future are also excellent. I am convinced that the development of our company will continue to be strong as Otto-Pekka steps in as CEO.”
