Tryg A/S appoints new Group CFO

Tryg appoints Barbara Plucnar Jensen as new Group CFO as of 1 March 2019. Barbara Plucnar Jensen is replacing Christian Baltzer, who is leaving Tryg on 14 October 2018.

Barbara Plucnar Jensen is 47 years old and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Copenhagen in 1996. Barbara comes from a position as CFO for ISS’ largest market in England and Ireland. She also has strong experience within investment and treasury from her 9 years with ISS and formerly from Danske Bank, where she held several management positions for 13 years. Barbara has also been heading key functions within analysis and development in previous jobs.

She will be responsible for continuing the strong financial management through the digital transformation, which is well advanced in the Tryg Group.

As of 1 March 2019, the Executive Board in Tryg A/S and Tryg Forsikring A/S consists of Group CEO Morten Hübbe, Group COO Lars Bonde, CCO Johan Kirstein Brammer and Group CFO Barbara Plucnar Jensen.

As Christian Baltzer is leaving Tryg on 14 October 2018, the position as CFO will be handled by Ulrik Andersson during the intervening time. Ulrik has been with Tryg for 18 years of which 12 years was with Group Finance and the last 6 years as CFO and Sales Executive in Tryg’s corporate business respectively.
