Travelzoo® (NASDAQ:TZOO) is strengthening its management in Australia. The travel deal site with exclusive offers for members today announced that Jacqui Timmins has joined the company as General Manager, Australia.
Timmins brings with her more than 25 years’ experience within the Australian and Asia-Pacific travel industry. In 2000, Timmins joined Qantas as National Sales Manager, becoming General Manager by 2002. In this role, she was responsible for Qantas’s commercial and strategic partnerships within the Australian marketplace, and for developing the global sales strategy. In 2008, Timmins was appointed General Manager, Australia at Stella Travel, where she led a franchise network of 450 independent leisure and corporate travel agencies across Australia. Most recently, Timmins worked for Expedia’s travel management company Egencia as Managing Director. Prior to this, she served as Exhibition Director, Asia Pacific, at Reed Travel Exhibitions, part of the RELX Group.
Jacqui Timmins will be based in Travelzoo’s Sydney office.
