Jürgen Pampel Recalled as Member of the Management Board of Voltabox AG - Patrick Zabel Takes Over CEO Position Paderborn, March 16, 2022 - Today, the Supervisory Board of Voltabox AG ["Voltabox" or the "Company" or the "Company"; ISIN DE000A2E4LE9] has unanimously, by mutual agreement and with immediate effect, removed Jürgen Pampel as a member of the Company's Management Board. Jürgen Pampel has been the CEO of Voltabox AG without interruption since the year of the IPO. In the future, he will take on a management position within the Triathlon Group, focusing on automotive issues. The Supervisory Board appointed Patrick Zabel as the new CEO of the Company. Since the beginning of the year, he has also been Managing Director of Trionity Invest GmbH, Voltabox AG's largest anchor shareholder. He is tasked with sharpening the company's future profile and introducing new, viable business models. In parallel, the course is to be set to build up industry experts and to prospectively place the management on a broader basis with his help. "I would like to thank Mr. Pampel for all the work he has done over the past years - especially for the time we spent together on the Management Board. Through his work as Managing Director and later Chairman of the Board of Voltabox, his person is closely associated with the company. In spite of adverse conditions, he has been very active over the past few years in helping Voltabox to get back on the road to success. I wish him all the best for his professional and personal future," emphasizes Patrick Zabel as the new CEO of Voltabox AG. Patrick Zabel was the company's CFO until October 2021 and was primarily responsible for the national and international restructuring of Voltabox. This included the divestment of highly loss-making projects, structures and subsidiaries as well as the complete debt relief, which prevented the company from becoming insolvent. In this context, he played a decisive role in the successful sale of the company to the new investors. Patrick Zabel is delegated for the Management Board function by the Voltabox anchor shareholder Trionity Invest. As Managing Director of Trionity Invest, he has been closely involved in the development of Voltabox AG over the past few months. In addition, Patrick Zabel is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Voltabox investment ForkOn GmbH and a lecturer at Bielefeld University's Minden campus. In accordance with the immediate effect of the Supervisory Board's decision, Patrick Zabel will represent the Management Board at the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting tomorrow, Thursday, March 17, 2022, and explain the Company's situation.
