Munich, March 12, 2020 - Yesterday, Wacker Chemie AG's Supervisory Board re-appointed Chief Financial Officer Tobias Ohler (49) to the Executive Board for another five years. Ohler's current contract expires on December 31, 2020. He joined the Executive Board in 2013. Dr. Tobias Ohler studied economics, business administration and industrial engineering in France, Germany and Australia, and took a doctorate in economics at the University of Oldenburg. Following his studies, he was a consultant at McKinsey from 1997 until 2004. He joined Wacker Chemie AG in 2005 as head of Corporate Controlling. In 2008, he took over Raw Materials Procurement and, in 2010, joined the Executive Board of Siltronic AG. Since January 2013, he has been on the Executive Board of Wacker Chemie AG.
