OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (NASDAQ: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics provider, is honored to support students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) pursuing careers in supply chain management, logistics and information technology with a philanthropic investment in UNO’s College of Information Science and Technology and the supply chain management program in UNO’s College of Business Administration.

The inaugural Werner Enterprises Lectureship at UNO will feature Werner President and CEO Derek Leathers on April 24, 2020.
