Xeris Pharmaceuticals Announces Proposed Public Offering of Shares of Common Stock
CHICAGO, Feb. 11, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: XERS), a specialty pharmaceutical company leveraging its novel technology platforms to develop and commercialize ready-to-use injectable and infusible drug formulations, today announced that it filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) relating to a proposed public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock. All shares of common stock will be offered by Xeris. Xeris expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 of the shares of common stock. Xeris intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to support the expected commercial launch of Gvoke HypoPenTM, to advance its other pipeline product candidates, and to use for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
