VINCI remporte un contrat de conception-construction en Australie

  • Modernisation d’un tronçon de l’autoroute Eastern Freeway à Melbourne, dans l’État de Victoria
  • Contrat de construction d’une valeur totale d’environ 450 millions d’euros

Dans le cadre d’un contrat de conception-construction de type « alliance » avec John Holland, Jacobs, Mott MacDonald et Major Road Projects Victoria, Seymour Whyte, filiale australienne de VINCI Construction, s’est vu attribuer un contrat pour la modernisation du tronçon Hoddle-Burke de l’autoroute Eastern Freeway.

Le contrat de construction est estimé à environ 450 millions d'euros (800 millions de dollars australiens) pour Seymour Whyte et John Holland (50/50), et devrait être achevé à la mi-2028.

La modernisation comprend l’ajout d'une voie dans chaque sens, une nouvelle voie réservée aux bus, des voies partagées, diverses structures civiles et des murs antibruit afin d'améliorer le confort des résidents à proximité.
