GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Oct. 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) reports that following the passage of Hurricane Melissa over Jamaica, Kingston Airport resumed operations today at 4:00 p.m. (local time) for humanitarian aid flights. Commercial operations will resume tomorrow, October 30, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.

All critical infrastructure including the runway, terminal building, boarding bridges, security systems, and essential equipment, has been inspected in accordance with international safety protocols and is in suitable condition for aircraft operations and passenger services.

Kingston Airport remains in close coordination with airport authorities, airlines, and humanitarian organizations to ensure a safe and orderly restoration of operations, with operational safety as the top priority.

At Montego Bay Airport, operations remain suspended. Technical and engineering teams are working continuously on structural, electrical, and operational assessments in order to reopen the airfield to receive evacuation flights and humanitarian aid. GAP will provide timely updates regarding this airport as information becomes available.
