Moody's Ratings affirms Hong Leong Bank's A3 ratings; outlook stable
Moody's Ratings (Moody's) has affirmed Hong Leong Bank Berhad's (HLB) A3 long-term domestic and foreign currency deposit ratings. At the same time, we have affirmed the bank's A2 long-term domestic and foreign Counterparty Risk Ratings (CRRs), A2(cr) long-term Counterparty Risk (CR) Assessment, P-...Hong Leong Bank is principally engaged in the provision of services in personal financial services, business banking and trade finance, treasury, branch and transaction banking, wealth management, investment banking, private banking and Islamic financial services. Co. operates within seven business segments: group consumer banking; group business banking; global markets; investment banking; takaful; overseas associate; and overseas joint controlled entity. As of June 30 2011, Co. had total assets of RM145.42 billion and total deposits of RM114.86 billion.
