The company has four segments: Loan Systems and Servicing, which focuses on student and consumer loan origination and servicing, student loan servicing-related technology solutions, and outsourcing services; Education Technology, Services, and Payment Processing, which focuses on tuition payment plans, financial needs assessment services, online payment and refund processing, and payment technologies; Communications, which focuses on providing fiber optic service; and Asset Generation and Management, which includes the acquisition and management of the company's student and other loan assets.
