YPF is engaged in three segments. Within the upstream operations, Co. holds interests in 110 oil and gas fields in Argentina and sells natural gas abroad and throughout Argentina; within the downstream operations, Co.'s activities include crude oil refining and transportation, as well as the marketing and transportation of refined fuels, lubricants, LPG, natural gas, petrochemical products and other refined petroleum products in the domestic wholesale and retail markets and the export markets; and with the gas and power operations, Co. consists of its natural gas distribution and electricity generation and commercialization segment.
