The mixed performance on the BRVM at the end of April 2018 gave way, one
month later, to a general market downturn.
The progress that the BRVM 10 has experienced so far in 2018 has therefore
reversed. This index was down 7.37% to 204.65 points. The composite market
index, BRVM C, also declined from 238.86 points to 218.39 points, or 8.57%
decrease. Compared to their values at the end of 2017, the BRVM 10 felt by
6.83% and the BRCM C lost 10.15%.
