Resistance is still there
In a 4.2% improvement over 2015, Afriquia Gaz’s distributed volumes exceeded 1 million tonnes, reaching 1,010,973 tonnes in 2016 compared with 970,221 tonnes last year. The EBIT was at MAD630.8m against MAD524.8m a year earlier, i.e. a 20.2% increase. In the same vein, 2016 net result increased by 13.7% to MAD454.8m. Taking into account the results achieved during 2016, the Board of Directors decided to propose the distribution of a dividend of MAD105 per share.
