Surprising results

Despite the sluggish local demand (-1.3% to 7.337 MT in H1 2015), the Italcementi’s Moroccan subsidiary announced positive results. CIMAR’s H1 2015 revenues increased by 7.9% to MAD1.929bn thanks to a favourable price effect, as H1 2015 sales volumes were down 0.4%. According to the management, CIMAR's significant increase (+27%, yoy) was made possible by Building Prod & Materials important sales volumes (ready-mix and aggregates). CIMAR’s H1 2015 EBITDA increased 6.7% to MAD802M, i.e.
