First signs of recovery
Q2 2015 sales showed a 52.8% growth to TND15.180M, which was achieved exclusively on the local market. SCB’s H1 2015 revenues increased by 10.7% to TND26.296M, driven by local sales (+36.3% to TND26.053M). According to the management, the export business collapse is explained by the fluctuation of the Algerian market and the sluggish demand on the Libyan market. The H1 2015 clinker production jumped by 387% to 0.182 MT (+767.1% to 0.324 MT in Q2 2015) with the effective start of the new furnace.
