Petrol has successfully bid for digitalization of Wien, as it gain contract by Wien Energie. This is positive, as it shows Petrol Group is extending its reach in other energy segment.
Latest survey vox-populi (February 2018; source: Ninamedia, Dnevnik) continues to prove that mid 2018 parliamentary elections will be unpredictable and that new parties can quickly gain ground (like for example Lista M.Šarca). Note current coalition is formed by SMC (35 seats of 90), Social Democrats (5) and Desus (11). More on page 1.
Interestingly for now little impact was seen on Telekom Slovenije shares, despite some court cases turned negative. Possibly its hard to evaluate exact impact or maybe investors will lag in a negative reaction.
4Q17 GDP data is again excellent: GDP grew by 5.0% YoY with 12.3% YoY export growth, 7.7% increase in gross investments and 4.5% domestic consumption growth. Here the state contributed 5.6% YoY growth in 4Q while households 3.3% growth. All in all GDP grew by 5.0% in 2017 with 10.6% export, 10.1% import, 8.4% gross investments,3.2% household and 2.3% state consumption growth. Page 4.
