ARTC UH recapitalization: Further disclosure suggests 33% dilution

Arabtec’s proposed recapitalization program receives initial approval from ESCA. Shareholder vote at the AGM in April 2017 would give the final green light

  • Recap program includes AED 1.5bn in rights offering with a subsequent capital reduction of AED 4.5bn to ‘swipe clean’ 97% of accumulated losses
  • Assuming 100% participation, the newly proposed structure implies lower EPS (or LPS) dilution to existing shareholders than previously thought (33% vs. potentially infinite previously)
  • We adjust our TP to AED 0.86/share (+0.01), reiterate Sell
