We presented an updated outlook for the SA listed property sector to clients during the last two weeks of August. While the 12m forward dividend yield on listed property is currently at a long term high, there is widespread scepticism with regards to the growth outlook.In this presentation, we reconcile the recent increase in listed property yields and update our risk measurement framework. We also provide an updated analysis on the South African direct property market and assess the newly introduced JSE property indices.
