Sasol had a challenging year with capex overruns and commissioning delays at Lake Charles Chemicals Project. In this note, we discuss the implications of Sasol's completed independent Board review. We express suggestions that Sasol can make at Board level to progress with the Group's chemical's biased growth strategy and commence changing the Group's operational culture to one of openess rather than fear.
