Boston Scientific develops and sells medical devices. The company started in 1960 as
Medi-Tech but was later merged and rebranded to Boston Scientific. One of its research
focus is on finding less-invasive treatments and therapies, which are alternatives to
surgery and to other procedures more severe to the human body. Its main
manufacturing and technology centers are in US, Ireland, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. IN
2017 they opened a new center in Malaysia.
