African Markets Review 02 02 2021

  • In Morocco, AFRIC INDUSTRIES published its Q4 2020 indicators, highlighting Cumulative sales down by -3% in y-o-y to MAD 41.7m;
  • Tunisia would issue this year bonds on the international financial markets for about USD 3bn, equivalent to TND 8.1bn;
  • In Egypt, EL NASR Automotive Manufacturing Company is set to rehabilitate its factory for manufacturing and producing Egypt’s first electric vehicles with 55% local components;
  • Unsatisfactory performance was recorded in the majority of the covered markets except for the BRVM Stock Exchange that posted the best daily performance (+0.84%) followed by the Casablanca Stock Exchange (+0.06%).
