  • In Morocco, SALAFIN obtained the Visa of the AMMC relating to its capital increase for a maximum amount of MAD 129.6m;
  • In Tunisia, more than TND 83bn in loans were granted by the banking sector in 2019, according to the annual report of the Central Bank of Tunisia;
  • The EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT has granted USD 100m to BANQUE MISR under Trade Facilitation Program, according to the business press;
  • In Tanzania, the private sector credit grew by 5.5% in June from 5.1% in the preceding month;
  • Among the covered African markets, Nairobi Stock Exchange recorded the best daily performance (+1.18%) while the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange posted the worst variation (-1.11%).
